Lead Woodworker

If I had a superpower, I'd choose the ability to fly – it's the ultimate traffic-beater, and the view wouldn't hurt either. My daily mantra is "Don't get fancy, just stay faithful," passed down by my father's mentor. It guides me in both life and woodworking. What keeps me going every day is the belief that every cut, shape, or decision is a chance to learn and improve. My advice to newcomers would be “Practice your scales”. In music, there are fundamental constants that form the basis for every melody, groove, and song that catches our ear. Understanding and mastery of these fundamentals is paramount to being able to create the music we love. Woodworking is no different. Invest time in the basics, because every “advanced” technique that you may attempt later is simply a compound of the skills you have already learned.”
